Financial tools should be usable with a keyboard, screen reader and on a small screen.
Design commitments
SavingsSolver uses semantic HTML landmarks and labels, visible focus styles, keyboard-operable navigation, inline form validation and text alternatives for icons. Important chart information is also provided in the numeric results and, when available, a table.
The layout is intended to adapt to narrower screens and respect reduced-motion settings. We aim to meet relevant WCAG 2.2 AA criteria, but do not claim independent conformance certification.
Known considerations
Financial charts are supplemental to text results; screen-reader users can read the associated metrics. Very long amortization tables can be scrolled horizontally on smaller screens and exported as CSV for independent inspection.
Accessibility depends on browser, assistive technology and user preferences. If a form, chart, download or navigation control creates a barrier, please provide a description of the problem using our contact page.
